SUTD wanted to create an intelligent campus with education solutions that empower personalized learning with secure, reliable communications and collaboration. Their network needed to enable secure campus connections for students and faculty from anywhere, anytime, and on any device. They required smooth digital content delivery to their students and teaching staff to simplify day-to-day operations, and allow IT staff to focus on the core business.

Action

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solutions provide network access that’s completely independent of location, devices, and media. By implementing virtual chassis’ at all layers, and using patented ClientMatch technology, improvements were made in the network performance and resiliency. AppRF technology – capable of differentiating applications – was used to enhance visibility and control.
